make your own disinfectant wipes and sprays

MAKE YOUR OWN DISINFECTANT WIPES AND SPRAYS
you will catch this two ways
you will breathe it in
you will get it on your hands

in our circle of 16 people only 5 of us are not in the high risk category
those nine are at risk of one of us bringing it to them or letting someone else bring it to them
you cant be too safe

so
wear a mask if you go outside
dont go anywhere unless you have to

if it doesnt convince you then nothing probably will
pretend thats a pharmacy or a grocery store or a gas station or your work or even where you are walking outside

my guess is i caught it going into a grocery store or a pharmacy before i started wearing my mask
i was more careful than most folks except for that mask

again watch this video and think about it when you decide to go somewhere

this is probably how you will catch it
then you will get sick and give it to your high risk circle members


then
the way to keep it off your hands is to wash them coming and going
if you go somewhere then you probably are picking it up on your hands
wash them coming and going
use hand sanitizer if you have it
we carry our homemade stuff with us

one thing about wearing a mask is that you arent touching your mouth and nose directly

keep things wiped down like counters the bathroom areas the door knobs
i know i know you cant find any disinfectant

neither can i
so here is what we did

i got peroxide and put it in a spray bottle and spray it on surfaces on my hands on door knobs etc
let it sit 5 minutes to work
it will evaporate into water and oxygen

then i took a quart jar and filled it with cut up pieces of old t shirts cut the size of a clorox wipe
i then stuffed them in a jar and poured peroxide over them
i use those peroxide wipes like i would a clorox wipe

then i took an empty clorox wipe container and stuffed the same size cut up t shirts into the container
then mixed up 1 tsp of clorox in a cup of water and poured this over the t shirt pieces
the recipe for clorox is on the cdc website
i use this just like a clorox wipe
i keep the main counters wiped down well with these home made wipes

the only disinfectant i can find right now is the peroxide
luckily we had a half gallon of clorox that should last for awhile
this is will make the clorox last longer

the used wipes are saved in a closed container and will be washed in the washing machine and reused

we still thankfully have 3 rolls of toilet paper left and we are being judicious in its use
there is a stack of the throw away newspapers in the corner just saying

so
if you go outside think about that video
remember a jogger or biker or hiker or another shopper may have just spewed out that cloud of stuff
that is still floating around
this will probably be how you catch it

wash your hands
dont touch your face
wipe down counters every day
wear a mask if you go outside

remember even if my wife she and i are now immune to the covid 19 we can still spread it on our hands to others
we plan to follow these rules above even if we cant get the infection again
we order our groceries from instacart a week before we need them since it takes that long to get the order
our prescriptions are delivered to us
we go for walks but we remember that video if someone gets anywhere near us

i go to the garden now that im feeling better
yes i tire easier and have some shortness of breath but i am able to walk a mile now
i have a lot of nasal congestion and get hoarse the more i talk
my appetite is better

my wife she walks with me and walks with her mom and will soon be back with ms b and mr hudson again some
while there she wears her n95 mask to protect herself and to protect them just to be safe
she washes her hands a lot so do i
