this last weekend as i was helping set up for the fundraiser for the central california alzheimers association called blondes vs brunettes a flag football game between female competitors donating their time to raise money for the alzheimers association
they usually raise close to $50,000
someone asked me as we somehow got on to discussing my diagnosis and the research studies i have been in
they said
you know i would never know you had a problem
well
i said
there are a lot of us out there now that are being diagnosed
we are becoming the new face of alzheimers disease
there is a website called being patient that does articles and pod casts on a regular basis on alzheimers disease
i am on their news feeds and usually read and listen to all of them
this one today
