dear ms b-a fast year

DEAR MS B-A FAST YEAR

ms b
its been a real fast year
since they rolled out that little bundle joy
from the delivery room

my how you have changed
eating real food
making talking noises
standing
grabbing everything
love that laugh you have

cant wait until when you finally let go and take off
my oh my
life will change then for mom and dad

all those things you have been wanting to get
ahold of
are yours for the taking

of course
now here at the country n we are looking
forward to walking you down to
the garden to play in the dirt

maybe pick a tomato or two

maybe walk down to the chicken coop
to talk to the chickens
pick up all those eggs each evening
maybe even cook one that you picked
so you can understand what farm to plate means

maybe walk out to the pastures
to pick a wildflower or two
i can see you sitting in that field of bluebonnets
maybe ill photo shop ;you into that picture

maybe ride in my old beat up black farm truck
maybe just bump around in the pasture in it

maybe ride on the john deere lawn tractor
like these kids did that day
and like numerous other kids have been doing over
the years
prepping for your day on this ride

maybe traveling down to the river with our two dogs
marley and maverick
talking to the horses on the way
maybe get a hee haw from the donkey also
maybe see a deer or a turkey
maybe let you sit in the flowing water
all those kids before you love this
maybe throw some rocks
when you get older maybe get you to learn to skip some

maybe throw a stick in the water for marley to swim
after
im sure he would love that

so ms b
now that you are almost a year now
you have entered that stage where you can start exploring more
so
maybe
when you come to visit us we will line you up for all
these maybes
maybe is right

have a happy first birthday this week
we got plans for you girl
