when asked this weekend
about the big fight that was going to happen

something just seemed not right about the fight
almost obscene
to me

it seems we or should i say yall were getting taken
for a lot of money
millions and millions it seems

heck the loser is getting at least $100,000,000
imagine what the winner is getting

now i am a big sports fan
i watch almost all sports
except for hockey which i have never got attached to

this weekend i watched the kentucky derby
and
at least parts of two nba playoff games
man now i would pay to see steph curry play
basketball
i still cant believe folks didnt highly recruit him
for college

so its unusual when i lack interest in an athletic event
that has been given so much interest

i wonder though
was it the hype that got folks spending that $100 to
watch the boxing match on pay per view
or
were they just interested in watching a boxing match

i think
the hype had a lot to do with it

i didnt succumb at all


now i have watched a lot of boxing matches in my time
loved to watch ali and foreman box
but
it just seems like the system is taking us all
to the bank
theirs

heck they dont even start the fight
until the pay per view sales start to drop
thats why the fight was delayed

it is a brutal sport
gladiator like at times
a tko is what it is
a concussion
get too many and you will pay for it all your life
get too many hits to the head
and
you get become permanently impaired
just ask
and
just watch muhammed ali now

wonder why they dont wear protective headgear

so
i had a good weekend of sports
i did not watch or really read anything about the flight
and
im ok with that
