that what i think when i hear about coke and pepsi
making ads and doing interviews and making press
releases about obesity

yep its the fox guarding the hen house for sure

now they are thinking about putting on their soda cans
how much exercise do you have to do to burn off the calories
in a can of coke

those 12 tsps of pure sugar is a lot
how do they get that stuff to go into solution
what if i drank 12 tsps of sugar in my large cup of coffe each
morning

you have to do a brisk not a leisurely 30 minute walk which
according to my calculations is about 1.5 miles to burn off
those calories
failure to do so could cause a 15 lb weight gain in a year

if it was me i woudnt let anyone know all this stuff and be
talking about it on tv
let us figure it out our self
heck what we dont know we wont know its hurting us

i drink rainwater every day
if i then walk 30 minutes at a brisk walk
to walk off the calories in 330 ml of rainwater
i will lose about 11 lbs of weight each year

so coke and pepsi to a lesser degree is spending thousands
of dollars to divert our attention to their other lower calorie
drinks which granted would help some
but is not doing much about the sugar content of its coke product

it does seem like to me this is somewhat like tobacco advertisers
advertising a lower nicotine cigarette

today the obesity health related issues are greater than tobacco
and alcohol and drugs

eg in the south the life expectancy of females are going down and its
felt to be due to diseases that result from obesity
diabetes cancer heart disease stroke high blood pressure and
possibly directly or indirectly alzheimers disease


so yes today ill fill my big gulp metal reusable container with
that refreshing country n rainwater and drink it today
and do my chores here at the county n or
since i wont gain weight drinking this aqua
i can just do nothing today
